Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data MVP ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and buy items for the MVP Minecraft server, and what we do with it. MVP is operated by the seller named on the Seller information page (contact: [contact email]).
What we collect
- Minecraft nickname that you enter to receive a purchase or to create your MVP card.
- Order data: the item you bought, the amount, the date and time, and the order status (paid, delivered).
- Verification codes: a short code that proves you own the nickname. It is valid for 10 minutes.
- MVP card and app: if you create a card, we store your nickname, a random sign-in token, your card theme, your poll votes and which news you opened.
- Notifications: if you turn on notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can send server news. You can turn it off at any time.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser information are processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded and its amount.
Cookies and storage on your device
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and we do not track you. The site only saves small things in your browser that you need for the site to work: the last nickname you typed in the store, your chosen currency, your MVP card sign-in token (also as a cookie), your notification setting, and whether you closed the "get the app" banner. You can clear them in your browser at any time.
Why we use it
- To deliver the items you bought to the right player (performance of the contract).
- To show your MVP card and send the notifications you asked for (performance of the contract / your consent, which you can withdraw by turning notifications off).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
- To answer support requests and handle refunds.
- To keep accounting records as the law requires (legal obligation).
Who receives your data
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and runs the store, card and news backend and database.
- YouTube (Google): the trailer on the Home page and videos in News are played from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When a video loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
- Google Firebase: delivers push notifications, only if you turn them on.
- Exchange rate services (open.er-api.com, frankfurter.dev): if you pick a currency other than euro in the store, your browser loads the current exchange rates from them. Prices are always charged in euro.
- Discord: only if you contact us there.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for [number] years because of accounting rules. MVP card data is kept until you delete your account with the Delete account button on your card (it is deleted 3 days later, and you can cancel until then) or ask us to delete it. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to solve your request.
Your rights
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. To use these rights write to [contact email]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Lithuania: the State Data Protection Inspectorate, vdai.lrv.lt).
Children
Many Minecraft players are young. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please ask a parent or guardian before buying anything and before giving us any data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
